Jennifer wants to be a director someday

LONDON (Reuters) - After years of starring in romantic comedies, actress Jennifer Aniston is hoping to step behind the camera and direct her first feature film.

The former "Friends" star told reporters in London that she was thinking about branching out after making more than six movies since the end of the popular TV comedy in 2004.

"I have a project in development I'm going to direct. After you get enough movies under your belt you sit back and go, 'What's next?'," Aniston, 41, was quoted as saying by Britain's The Sun newspaper on Monday.

"It's getting to a time where creatively I want to turn in a different direction," she added.

Aniston's directorial feature debut however could still be some years away. The "Bounty Hunter" and "Marley and Me" star has acting role movies in three other movies scheduled for release in 2010 and 2011.

Aniston's publicist in Los Angeles said nothing concrete had been decided and that possible projects Aniston might direct are still in the writing stage of development.

Aniston has already co-directed the 2006 short drama "Room 10" with Andrea Buchanan that won a prize at the CineVegas film festival.

If she moves into feature film directing, she would follow the likes of Hollywood actresses Drew Barrymore and Helen Hunt.

Aniston last week unveiled plans for a new perfume called Lovalie that will be launched in London this summer. She also revealed an ad campaign for the fragrance that shows her sitting on a rock at a beach wrapped only in a large towel.

Aniston says her perfume is an extension of herself

Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston says her debut perfume Lolavie is not overpowering and is ‘an extension’ of herself.

Aniston says her fragrance is something she's been working on for a long time as she wanted to get it just right.

"It's been a year-and-a-half journey. I'd been asked to do things before, and it never felt organic. But when Leon Falic approached me to be involved with the process from inception to fruition, I thought, 'This could be a creative expression'. And it's turned out to be an extension of myself as opposed to slapping my name on something," femalefirst.co.uk quoted her as saying.

Jennifer is hopeful women will like the scent because it's not too overpowering.

"Lolavie is sexy and clean floral, but not too flowery. I want people to go, 'What is that? You smell great!' But most of all I wanted it to smell natural," she added.

Jennifer Aniston: What’s the reason behind that smile!

It seems like the ex Mrs. Brad Pitt and Friends star Jennifer Aniston has learnt her way to happiness. In fact she has started to give some suggestion to live a happy life. In a recent interview she has revealed that she has stopped caring about other people’s views about her. Now she knows that she can’t change one’s opinion and thought process, so why care about them. Now she only cares about herself.

She explained: “I don’t think you can control that at the end of the day. You can’t stunt what you do to please or not please the public.”

“And the media will create stories whether they are true or false. So why stop doing what makes you happy? Be true to yourself and everything else will follow.” She added.

Well, we agree dear.

She also shared her love for direction. Notably she has directed a short movie named ‘Room 10′ in 2006, and since then, there are only speculations about her directing another one. But now, she has come up with an answer to all these rumors.

She said: “I have a project in development I’m going to direct. After you get enough movies under your belt, you sit back and go, ‘What’s next?’ It’s getting to be the time where creatively I want to turn in a different direction.”

She also revealed her love for comedies. We all know her for her comic role in Friends, and she says that she loves to do a comedy. She candidly says that she tries to experiment with different genres, but its comedy which comes natural to her.

“Obviously, I’m drawn to comedy, good or bad. But I love doing parts that are different and I sprinkle those throughout to get creatively unstuck.

“I’m really excited about my next movie ‘Buttercup’. It’s not trying not to make people laugh and it’s not a big tent pole picture. It will be more for me – and for the people who say, ‘You should do something serious.’ ”

We will look forward to ‘Buttercup’!

Jen secret meeting with Brad

In a story that definitely wasn't planted by her publicist to get back at that backstabbing bitch Angelina Jolie, In Touch Weekly claims that Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have been secretly hooking up. Yeah, sure they are:

In an exclusive interview, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s former bodyguard reveals that since Brad and his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston reconnected at the 2009 Academy Awards, they have hooked up four times — three times in LA and once in New York — and even recently shared a passionate kiss. “I know that he still loves her,” the ex-bodyguard Bill, who for security reasons chooses only to be identified by his first name, tells In Touch.

In fact, there was one date that Bill says brought them closer than ever — and since then, their relationship has heated up even more. Brad and Jen arranged a secret meeting at the trails off of Western Canyon Road in Beverly Hills on December 9, Bill says. At 3:30p.m., Jen pulled up to the location in her Bentley, and Brad arrived on his motorcycle. After Brad climbed into Jen’s passenger seat, “They were very cozy, clearly embracing,” Bill reveals for the first time. “Several times, Brad and Jen were hugging and kissing.” After talking and nuzzling for about 30 to 40 minutes, Bill, who was on “paparazzi watch,” advised the pair that they should leave, as photographers were spotted just a few miles away. “Jennifer left first, flashing Brad a quick peace sign and a smile,” says Bill. “Brad jogged back to his motorcycle, drove off and went for an hour bike ride.”

This bodyguard says that for "security reasons" he just wants to go by his first name? Obviously he's not very good at security. Unless Brad has 50 guys named "Bill" on his payroll, this guy's going to stick out more than Nicole Kidman at the Million Man March. Hopefully this whole ordeal has taught Brad how to keep his employees from spilling secrets to the media: always pay your Bill.
